Yeah. I think we're a little "thin" on bluegrass. Kevin Lusk? Tom Gannaway? Anyone?

Nice! Think happy, smiley, family-friendly saturday afternoon in the park. That kind of vibe :)

Try out Bluegrass BBQ. Its quick and playful, but not overbearing. Its no Bluegrass tour-de-force but could work well as background...
A bit outside my zone, maybe a bit more like astroturf than true bluegrass? It's just hard to fake bluegrass convincingly... =)
I have a couple others cued up, including a stripped down version of the BBQ to just Acoustic guitar, but I am having real trouble uploading. I'll see if its better tonight.

Hey Simon,
If you still have the need, do you have a bluegrass band in mind whose style you might suggest as a template?

Kevin, Thanks for your uploads! I do like Bluegrass BBQ. I think it's on the right track and close. Could you possibly do a version that included drums? I'm wanting just a little bit more energy, but I think the emotion is right. Anything else? I do like to have some options.
Thanks! Simon

Tom, Certainly! I'm always looking for more options. As an editor, I really need to hear a few different things and different ideas to see what I respond to best and what might fit right for my edit.
I'm not sure what bluegrass band to suggest because I don't really know any. The reason I want some bluegrass is because I shot a small community event on a Saturday and they had a live bluegrass band playing throughout the day. So it just was kind of the mood of the day and so it would work for the video. It was just a sunny Saturday, upbeat bluegrass, kids were dancing, stuff like that. I think some of the tunes they played might have been from the O Brother Where Art Thou movie. Like the more upbeat stuff.
Thanks to you and Kevin both for jumping in the mix and throwing out some options!
