Multi-instrumentalist composer Russ Harris began his formative years being shaped by the era of John Williams led Spielberg/Lucas fantasy epics whilst tapping away at a ZX Spectrum to the sound of Kraftwerk. A diet of John Carpenters chilling dystopias was then to follow which pushed an early curiosity into how music was used to enhance the emotional charge of film. Following this, an early rock phase started his beginnings as a technical musician, touring with several bands playing bass and lead guitar before moving through a couple of new wave electro bands before his current dance project Go Yoko! An ongoing desire to explore sound design led to a craving to dig deeper into the roots of music composition and the artistic marriage of music with film and video games.
After obtaining his mixing and recording credentials studying sound engineering at City Of Westminster he went on to build a professional recording studio and began amassing a large collection of synthesizers and otherworldly instruments
