About this Song
A lively dance, in middle-eastern style (minor middle-eastern scale), played on Santoor (traditional middle-eastern plucked stringed instrument), darbouka (hand percussion), violin tune and violin drone, with a live, improvisatory feel. Starting with santoor, the darbouka comes in at 4.5 seconds closely follwed by the violin drone, then the violin tune at 15 seconds. The texture remains approximately the same until near the end . . . at 2 minutes 12, a lower santoor sound enters, and the texture thins towares a gentle ending.
